Just stayed here for a little valentines date with my wife. Really enjoyed the new modern rooms. Loved the big windows, and the coffee table in the room. (I did hear my plumbing rattle throughout the night not loud just odd) other than that room was 5/5! Staff was very friendly and kind. We enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar. I would definitely stay again so we could go to The Foundry rooftop bar.

As a Marriott platinum elite member, I stay in a lot of Marriott hotels. This property is a great one! Loved the rooftop bar. A perfect date night with my wife and I overlooking the ballpark. And after we got back home, my wife realize she left her AirPods in the hotel room, and the staff very kindly shipped them back to us. Great service! Would definitely recommend this.
Had to edit my post as this is not the actual hotels fault but I do think it's good to be aware. The hotel is honestly TOP NOTCH, the restaurant is great and everyone here is very kind & hospitable HOWEVER, if you are a light sleeper, DO NOT stay here or ask for a fan to be placed in your room, it sincerely helped. It's wild, it's not even the street noise nor the restaurants, the hotel just must not have been built very sound proof- the inner hotel noises are driving me BONKERS. I stay in Marriott's almost weekly sometimes, definitely monthly and have never experienced anything like it. You can hear people upstairs walking around, people in the room next to you, the doors opening and closing in the hall ways, you hear EVERYTHING. I have moved rooms THREE times and it's still awful. Floor two by far the best and quietest. Again, not hotel staff fault but if you prefer a quieter get away, this is not your place.
Fantastic stay, the 1st introduction to this place was Darnell. He was Extremely helpful, informative, and had great people skills. He made it very welcoming and was super helpful in anything we needed. Hotel was in a great spot downtown by the baseball field. Rooms were clean and nice. Would highly recommend anyone to stay if coming to Dayton.

The hotel is beautiful and modern, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff — especially Darnell. He was the first face we encountered at check-in, and he set the tone for the entire experience. Professional, warm, and incredibly welcoming, Darnell went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and informed. He represents the very best in hospitality. We also want to recognize Mohammed, who was equally fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and always ready to help — his positive energy made a great impression on our entire family. Thanks to this amazing team, we had a smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back, and we highly recommend the AC Marriott Dayton to anyone visiting the area.
